Tuwaiq Heritage Tower is one of the most closely watched projects on the Riyadh skyline. It stands at the intersection of King Fahd Road and Anas bin Malik Road in the Al Malqa district, north of the capital. At 305 metres across ~52 floors, it is the third-tallest tower in Riyadh and is described as the tallest tower in the world inspired by traditional Najdi (Salmani) architecture.
The tower will house a 5-star luxury hotel with more than 800 rooms, a two-storey royal suite with its own private pool, a 1,000-guest wedding hall, a spa, restaurants and retail. The hotel operator has not yet been announced, and no official opening date has been published. Market chatter suggests the building is close to completion, but no official completion percentage has been released.
Its most distinctive feature will be a facade mural described as the world's largest — a portrait of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, painted by muralist Badr Al-Balawi. The tower is owned by the Al Muhaidib Group and widely attributed to businessman Ibrahim Al Muhaidib, as announced via the group's official account.
